Trough Canyon (5163)

Description: The Trough Canyon Trail #163 is 2.2 miles long. This trail begins and ends at Forest Trail #011 (Tuerto). This trail follows Trough Canyon and a small intermittent side stream to Trough Canyon. Access to this trail is off of Forest Road #095 (The Causeway).

Trail conditions vary widely with weather events and during spring runoff. Check with the Monticello Ranger District for updated information.

Loops can be made using this trail and other area trails. The other trails which can be used to complete various loops include: Tuerto to Skyline (#457), Skyline (#015), Blue Creek-Tuerto Canyon (#014), Blue Creek/Allen Canyon (#013) and Tuerto (#011).

Directions: From Blanding, head east on Center Street and travel 0.1 miles. Turn left (north) onto 100 E and travel 1.7 miles. Continue onto The Causeway (#095) and travel 19.3 miles. Turn right onto Tuerto Trail #011 and travel 0.1 miles to Trough Canyon Trail #163.
