Camp Jackson (5016)
Description: The Camp Jackson Trail #016 is 3.9 miles long. The southern end of this trail is at Forest Road #084 (Recapture) and travels northwest to Forest Road #386 which is a spur off of Forest Road #079 (North Creek). While relatively flat, this trail does include some steep sections that may be difficult to negotiate. The trail travels northward through pleasant ponderosa pine forest towards Camp Jackson Reservoir which is located on private land.
This trail is can also be accessed via Forest Trail #168 (Wagonwheel) and Forest Trail #462 (West Wagon Loop Trail). Use of these trails can create a loop.
Restrictions: Open to: Hiking, Mountain Biking, Horseback Riding, Motorcycle Riding, and Off Highway Vehicles (OHV) less than or equal to 50 inches wide
Water: Bring your own water for day trips
Restroom: Vault toilet at the Southern Camp Jackson/Wagon Wheel Trailhead

Directions: From Monticello, head south on US-191 approximately 8.9 miles. Turn right onto Co Rd 110/Forest Road #082 (Blue Mountain Ranch) and continue approximately 2.2 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road #084 (Recapture) and travel approximately 3.2 miles to Camp Jackson Trail #016 located on your right.
From Blanding, head north on US-191 approximately 9.6 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road #085 (Bulldog) and follow this road approximately 6.0 miles. Turn left on Forest Road #084 (Recapture) and proceed 0.5 miles to the Camp Jackson Trail #016 located on your right.
